The Bluestone Centre is an exciting multi-million-pound development of steel framed Business Units situated on Solstice Park, Amesbury in South Wiltshire, adjacent to the A303 route from London to Exeter. Together with our Architects Simpson Hilder and our Structural Designers HBPW, we developed a contemporary design and layout which was economical to construct due to several key engineering innovations. We designed the terracing of the units to achieve an earthworks cut/fill balance, retaining all materials on site to eliminate waste removal, in line with our Group sustainability targets.
All units were sold off plan to a mix of owner occupiers and investors
An exciting opportunity
This £6M speculative build business park investment for Nationwide Engineering Group was an exciting opportunity to bring Commercial Development to the 160-acre Solstice Business Park. With major brands including Holiday Inn, McDonalds, Costa, Co-Op, Home Bargains and Travis Perkins already resident, The Bluestone Centre provides excellent premises for owner/occupiers and investors. – Rob Hibberd, Managing Director
